Square Enix announces new studio and fresh IP

It's far from final, but definitely not a fantasy

Square Enix has unveiled a brand new IP at this year’s E3 codenamed ‘Project Setsuna’.

The venerable games publisher is opening a new development studio, Tokyo RPG Factory, where the new title will be made. Setsuna is to be a console RPG released in 2016 but no other details have been revealed save for the concept art seen above. All we know is that the product is currently in development.

What the end product look like is anyone’s guess. Square Enix has a solid history of making traditional JRPGs but given the fresh direction of FFXV, we could be in for something entirely new.
