Speak Music’s Alexa-enabled Muse is like a tiny Echo Dot for your car
“Alexa, err, where the hell am I?”

Amazon’s know-it-all voice assistant is gradually finding her way into lamps, tablets and even levitating cameras, but if you want a car with the tech built in your options are still surprisingly limited. For the time being, then, third-party accessories are the best way to go, and at $40 Speak Music’s Muse looks like a bit of a bargain. Currently smashing its funding target on Indiegogo, the miniature Bluetooth device boasts over 25,000 skills out of the box. You can make totally hands-free calls with the noise-cancelling mic and your car’s stereo, get directions, restock your toilet rolls or just ask Alexa for some random 80s trivia. Support for TuneIn means you can easily switch between podcasts and radio stations, and while Spotify won’t be available from day one (a free update is planned), Amazon’s own music streaming services will be. All you need to do is set up the Muse app on your smartphone, pair with your Amazon account, and you have Alexa on the open road.
