Apple confirms 23 October event – iPad Mini ahoy!

San Jose launch next Tuesday could see the debut of a smaller iPad alongside new Mac computers

Apple has sent out invitations to a launch event on 23 October – and it’s highly likely that the highlight will be the announcement of the iPad Mini.

The event will take place in San Jose, California, a short skip from Apple’s Cupertino HQ, and will kick off at 10am PST – that’s 6pm in the UK. Rest assured we’ll be keeping you abreast of all the developments via a live blog.

Aside from the iPad Mini, rumours also point to the unveiling of new iMacs, Mac Minis and possibly a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display, so it could be a busy morning for Tim Cook and co. Check back here then for all the details as they happen.
