Apple design whiz Jonathan Ive to design Leica M-Series camera

Better get your pocketbooks ready, though – it'll be a one-off

Taking a break from designing wonder gadgets like the iPhone 5 (and the iPad Mini?) for Apple, Sir Jonathan Ive is palling up with Leica to design a limited edition M-series camera.

And when we say “limited edition,” we mean it – only one unit of the Ive-designed Leica M-series will be produced, and it’ll be auctioned off for charity. With the standard Leica M selling for a cool £5100, expect Ive’s one-off to cost a pretty penny. Ah well, it’s all in a good cause. Hopefully it’ll be a little bit more impressive than our mock-up.
