Apple is pushing to launch a TV streaming service by the end of the year
The negotiations are flying thick and fast out of Cupertino, but will the coveted tech giant get its own way?
Apple’s VP of Internet Software and Services Eddie Cue is striving to negotiate with content providers to launch a TV streaming service by the end of the year, according to the New York Post.
One source told the site that Apple has been rather bullish in its negotiations in which they want to decide the price and what content is included, while another source stated that Apple “want everything for nothing”.
Apple has been known to be very particular and controlling throughout its history, mirroring its late co-founder Steve Jobs’ strive for perfection and control over all aspects of the company.
Either way, it would appear that Apple is gearing up for some media streaming goodness, with rumours of a new Apple TV arriving in March and whisperings of an actual Apple iTV television set which refuse to die down.
