Arcam rCube price slashed

Our favourite compact music cube takes a price tumble to the tune of £150

It’s all change for the Arcam rCube. First up, the (fairly) portable speaker system is now available in white so you can match it to your white iPhone or iPad 2 if you’re that way inclined. Then there’s the bunch of firmware updates Arcam is helpfully handing out to give existing owners louder sound, better battery life and improved bass performance.

And finally – the piece de resistance – the iPod dock is suddenly looking a lot more affordable as Arcam has just permanently slashed the price from £500 to £350. That’ll give you more than a few extra pennies to spend on iTunes and will have the rCube’s big, bad competitors quaking in their wireless boots.
