Most of the buzz has been around Samsung which, as well as a raft of televisual treats, has squeezed out a super sexy MP3 player (pictured).Looking like the highly attractive offspring of a saucy iPod Nano and LG Chocolate, the K3 measures in at just 7mm thick. K5 fans will recognise it as a thinner version of the player minus the slide-out speakers. It begins its Nano onslaught in March in the US. A Bluetooth-packing incarnation of the T9 is also on the way.Meanwhile budget brand Polaroid‘s been busy brewing up its own PMPs. With one eye on the Zune, it’s equipped them with Wi-Fi – clearly the only thing to be seen with in 2007 following on from SanDisk’s Sansa Connect yesterday. Come March, Panasonic‘s spinning out one 26-inch two new 32-inch 1080i LCDs. It’s Plasmas are going even further with full fat 1080p and new 50 and 58-inch models to sit behind the current 65 and 103-inch monsters. Finally for HD-fans on a budget there’s its new LIFI line of rear projection tellies available with full 1080p and sporting a new quick starting, long lasting bulb. Catch them in 50, 56 and 61-inch guises from the middle of the year.And Sling Media‘s unwrapped its latest gift to slinging kind, the SlingCatcher. A one-trick pony no more it can now also sling web content (or anything else on a PC screen) over to a TV and act as an IPTV box for hooking up to internet telly streams and movie downloads. Expect a lengthy wait on from the US launch this summer before it comes here.
