Call Of Duty: Ghosts coming to next-gen consoles
Activision says transition to PS4 and next Xbox “the perfect opportunity to start a new chapter of Call Of Duty”

Call Of Duty: Ghosts will be the next instalment of gaming’s leading series – and according to publishers Activision it’ll be coming to the PS4 and next Xbox.
After Tesco mistakenly leaked details of the game, Activision was forced to step up and confirm it earlier than planned. The company released a statement confirming that Ghosts will feature an “all-new story, all-new characters, an all-new Call Of Duty world, all powered by a next generation Call Of Duty engine, which is a leap forward for the franchise.”
The game, which will go on sale 5th November, is once again being developed by Infinity Ward. The studio’s Executive Producer Mark Rubin said that, rather than simply do the obvious thing and make Modern Warfare 4, “we saw the console transition as the perfect opportunity to start a new chapter for Call Of Duty. So we’re building a new sub-brand.”
