The result is the Zen Mosaic, a tiler’s delight of mosaic-like keys below a shining 1.8in screen.
Just like its smaller cousin, the Zen Stone Plus, it gets a built-in speaker but comes with beefier capacities ranging from a modest 2GB to an iPhone 3G-matching 16GB. It also packs an FM radio, a voice recorder and will handle photos, but not video.
Find it next month in black, grey or pink from a bargain £50 – or hold your horses for the 16GB model, which won’t be arriving ’til autumn, oddly.
