Dell reveals pint-sized Alienware X51 gaming desktop for £700

Meet the gaming rig that doesn't need an extension to fit under your telly

Dell’s latest Alienware X51 strays from the design of previous hulking gaming rigs with a footprint not much bigger than an original Xbox 360.

Starting from £700, the minature Alienware X51 is touted as an “entry point to high performance gaming” and is available in three flavours ranging from Intel’s i3 to i7 processors, packing in up to 8GB of RAM and Nvidia GTX 555-powered graphics.

The fully-specced version will set you back £950, so if you fancy perusing the Alienware X51 range head on over to Dell and browse away before nabbing yourself a living room-friendly gaming rig.
