There are stacks of mini speaker systems out there, but the iMu is a little bit different.

It won’t work as a speaker on its own, but when combined with a hard, flat surface like a table, wooden floor or car bonnet, it starts to sing.

Its magic ingredient is Terfenol-D, developed by the US Navy, no less. It’s this mysterious stuff that produces the vibrations which are then amplified by the hard surface.

All we know is that it’s certainly a different way to vent your tunes from your MP3 player.
