You take your music collection with you everywhere on your iPod, but sometimes you want to let someone else decide the playlist, or specifically listen to the Adam and Joe show live on a Saturday morning.

The Intempo iDAB plugs into the docking port of your iPod and pipes DAB straight to your Britney Spears. Buttons on the side of the unit take care of the station changing business, and it’s less than 40mm square. There’s even a four-line LCD display to give you the lowdown on what you’re listening to.

Where the iDab really comes into its own, though, is its ability to be plugged straight into an iPod dock, for an ears-free digital radio experience. Though you will have to leave the earphones plugged in – they’re the antenna, don’t you know.
