Video killed the radio star, and now the video star is languishing in the back of a cupboard somewhere.

Before it goes supernova, resurrect your favourite recordings from yesteryear before they become an unwatchable snowstorm, be they home vids or just a treasured recording of the volleyball scene from Top Gun.

Just plug the USB VHS Converter into your PC via, as the name suggests, USB cable. Load your favourite vid and hit the record button in the EZ VHS Converter software.

It’ll prep the footage for viewing on your compy, iPod, PSP or good ‘ol DVD. Then you can clear out your old tapes, or donate them to a museum somewhere.

If you’re on a mission to digitise your life, take a look at the MAGIX Rescue Your Videotapes kit too
