Not only has Ixos crafted an iPod dock you can carry with you, but it’s also fitted it out with 12W of output –enough to scare away the sheep nibbling at your sandwiches or raise a modicum of hell on the beach.
That should also make it powerful enough for around the house, especially as Ixos has tossed in a couple of long-throw drivers to tease as much bass out of a small package as possible.
Being portable it can run off AA batteries (a hefty six in all), or just plug it in and it’ll charge your iPod at the same time. It even gets a built-in FM radio for when your playlist wears thin.
