HTC Eternity leaked

The Taiwanese mobile giant has another Windows Phone powerhouse in the works

The interwebs have showered us with generosity once again, this time in the form of leaked shots of an HTC smartphone with a mammoth 4.7in WVGA Super LCD display. Dubbed the Eternity, this – disappointingly single core – 1.5 GHz processor should nevertheless be able to happily keep up with Windows Phone Mango’s snappy OS.

An 8MP camera with dual LED flash should keep the pocket-snapper crowd happy and the 16GB storage will be ample space for the 720p videos it can record. A hefty battery and DLNA support are welcome bonuses. All-in-all this looks set to be the best Windows Phone yet. It’s far too early for any pricing or release date information, but we’ll keep our ears pricked for any further whisperings as and when they happen.
