iPhone 5 front panel images leak
Purported shots of Apple's new iPhone reveal bigger screen and centred FaceTime camera
New photos purporting to show the front panel of the the rumoured iPhone 5 have leaked on Chinese Apple blog, Apple.pro.
As you can see from the pic, the iPhone 5 closely resembles the iPhone 4S, albeit with a larger 4in screen – suggesting that it will have a true 16:9 aspect ratio.
The front-facing camera, used for FaceTime calls, has shifted to the centre of the phone; the proximity sensor seems to have stuck to its existing location to the left of the earpiece.
The iPhone is expected to arrive in September or October, with site Know Your Mobile claiming that the phone will be unveiled on August 7.
As usual, take these rumours with a pinch of salt – though it’s worth noting that the leaked front panel images seem to tally with purported shots of the iPhone 5 that leaked last week.
