iPhone 5 in shops on September 21st?
Sure, Apple is announcing its new iPhone on September 12th but, according to an accessory release date, we could be waiting longer to get one

The invites have gone out for a September 12th event that clearly nods to the iPhone 5 – but an inventory listing for iPhone 5 accessories suggests we may be waiting until September 21st for the phone to land in shops.
That’s if this screenshot from a US dealer inventory is anything to go by. It’s a bit tenuous – the listing is actually for an iShieldz iPhone 5 screen protector – but should the September 21st on-sale date tally with the release of Apple’s new phone, that would fit with previous releases (the iPhone 4S had a 10-day window between announcement and release). Still, we’ve previously heard rumours that Europeans will have to wait until October 5th for their taste of the iPhone 5, so perhaps we’ll get it earlier than we thought…
