LG Optimus Nexus appears dubbed as the Nexus 4

LG's Optimus Nexus makes an unscheduled appearance online, with a new name. Could this be the first Nexus phone of 2012?

An anonymous source has revealed to The Verge the existence of what could very well be the first of Google’s Nexus handsets to be released this year.

A photo of Carphone Warehouse’s inventory system shows a mysterious device named the LG Nexus 4, which could be the final street name of the sparkly LG Optimus Nexus which was leaked earlier this week.

With the spec sheet expected to contain a 4.7in 1280×768 screen, a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and Android Jelly Bean running the show, the LG Nexus 4 looks set to make quite a splash when it lands – whenever that may be…

Stay tuned for more info, as and when we get it.
