Lovefilm to show Amazon Studios’ programmes
Watch out, Netflix: Amazon’s upcoming original TV shows will be available for free streaming on Lovefilm

Lovefilm has announced that it will be showing original programmes made by Amazon Studios, and that anyone with a Lovefilm account will be able to stream them free-of-charge.
It’s not a particularly surprising move, given that Lovefilm is now owned by Amazon, but it makes sense as a response to rival Netflix’s recent forays into original programming.
Netflix currently offers two original series in Lillehammer and House of Cards, and is bringing back beloved sitcom Arrested Development later this year. Amazon Studios is currently producing a range of comedy pilots and children’s shows – and has apparently been tapping up the likes of John Goodman to star.
