We first spied these widescreen Mios at CeBIT but it seems they’re now ready for a spot of UK navigating.Running Mio’s rather splendid MioMap 3.3 software, the C320 sticks to simple navigating while the C520 (pictured) adds an MP3 player, photo viewer and, more usefully, a Bluetooth speakerphone.Speaking of which, the bundled cradles also feature an extra built-in speaker for belting out directions, while the ‘T’ versions also get a TMC receiver in the cradle for fetching traffic info.Rather than waste their 4.3in displays on plotting useless side roads as they whizz idly by, Mio’s kept to square format maps and used the rest of the screen for displaying useful info such as the next four turns, upcoming speed cams or route specifics – including that ever-optimistic stat, the ETA.Each is a pocket-pleasing 2cm thick and comes with Tele Atlas maps for 22 European countries. But then two of them are San Marino and, um, the Vatican City. Better off just calling it 20, eh Mio? Essentials
