Neo Geo X to sell for US$130
Standalone handheld remake of the classic arcade console available in cut-price peripheral-free version
Neo Geo X, a 4.3-inch handheld recreation of SNK’s classic arcade console, will be available for as little as US$130 (around £80) when it arrives in December. Previously, the only version priced was the Gold edition, which comes with a charging dock and joystick and will retail for $200.
The $130 edition is standalone, but does feature 20 Neo Geo games pre-loaded, including Fatal Fury and Metal Slug. Multiplayer is available via hooking the handheld up to a TV (the charging dock is required for this) and adding a joystick (the price of which is yet to be announced).
