Netflix app lands on Windows 8
Considering making the Microsoft switch when Windows 8 launches but worries about lack of apps? Netflix is leading the charge on doubts

Microsoft is ready to shake up the world with Windows 8 when it launches on October 26th, with the reveal of its Surface tablet. But even though the OS isn’t officially out yet, Netflix has its Windows 8 app ready to roll in the Windows 8 Marketplace.
The app is tile focused, much like the OS, meaning you can select a film with the touch of your screen and access menus with a swipe. It also works with keyboard and mouse – but it shows the direction that Microsoft wants app developers to go in the future. So, Netflix users – will you be in the line to grab a Surface tablet at midnight on October 25th? Let us know on Twitter.
