New Far Cry 3 trailer shows off brutality of island life

Don’t expect a pina colada and a sun lounger here – it’s slave traders and deadly fauna from coast to coast

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the upcoming Far Cry 3, showing off the south island and some of the adrenaline-fuelled antics you’ll be getting up to down there.

Crazy driving, fighting off panthers and sharks, rescuing hostages and filling slave-trading mercenaries full of hot lead – it’s all in the video. Looks good too – a welcome return to the tropical setting of the first Far Cry game – so we’re counting down to the early December release date with some excitement.
