Gaming giant Nintendo has announced its next training title for the complacent British public: Sight Training. Yes, train your eyes.Sight Training: Enjoy Exercising and Relaxing Your Eyes, to give it its full title, will ‘help strengthen’ your eyes, according to Nintendo. Supervised by Dr Hisao Ishigaki, a visual training expert, Sight Training checks five aspects of your vision; hand-eye co-ordination, peripheral vision, eye movement, momentary vision and dynamic visual acuity. When you first switch on, Sight Training will work out your eye age score from all of the above then suggest a slew of tests to keep your peepers fit and healthy. The more progress you make the more tests will be unlocked. Relaxation mode kicks in once you’ve flung your baby-blues around their sockets enough for one day. We know how we’d like to keep our eyes relaxed (see any given cover of Stuff). What with Brain Training, Face Training, the Wii and its sport and fitness titles, Nintendo is doing more to tackle health and obesity than Mr Motivator ever could.Sight Training: Enjoy Exercising and Relaxing Your Eyes is due out on 23 November, priced around £25.EssentialsSight TrainingPrice: £25On sale: 23 NovemberContact: NintendoRelated stories:News: DS Brain TrainingReview: Nintendo DS Lite
