Not much dosh for an HD REGZA Tosh

Good old Tosh. It’s taken its rather stunning REGZA brand LCDs and turned them into a wallet friendly ‘C’ range with copycat narrow black frames.So if you can make do with just two HDMI slots and no full-fat 1080p, you might just grab yourself a bargain.The 26, 32, 37 and 42in sets boast the telly maker’s pixel colour tweaking Active Vision. Contrast reacts dynamically and runs up to an impressive 5000:1 on the 37-incher, down to a more average 3500:1 on the 26in model.All four also get a dollop of SRS Labs’ ‘WOW’ audio – a feature usually tabbed on to headphones and car stereos but also handy for giving small, built-in speakers extra meat, so we’ll take it.The only thing missing is the price, which, like a closely guarded state secret, Tosh says it can’t tell us. In the meantime, we’ll just have to take its word for it on that whole value thing.
