Pierre Cardin makes UK’s first designer tablet
But does the £275 Android-clad PC-7006 have any substance?
It had to happen. Following in the inauspicious footsteps of designer smartphones, the Pierre Cardin PC-7006 claims to be the UK’s first designer tablet.
Looks-wise the 7in PC-7006 isn’t shattering any design concepts but what about under the bonnet? It’s running Android Froyo, not Honeycomb, but it does have a 1Ghz Samsung Cortex-A8 processor, MicroSD support (up to 16GB) and built-in WiFi. So if a fancy case, gift box and designer name tick your tech boxes, head to the Pierre Cardin website. Otherwise, check out our pick of the best budget tablets – all under £200.
