Power to the people – ethical 4G for all with The People’s Operator

New charitable UK network goes live – and could bring with it cheaper 4G for on-the-go speed demons

A new UK mobile network – The People’s Operator – has launched in the UK, and could pave the way for cheaper 4G tariffs in the not-too-distant future.

Piggy-backing on EE’s network, TPO will donate 25 per cent of your money to charity and will allow you to donate another 10 per cent to a worthy cause of your choice.

With texts and calls free to other TPO users, and a competitive PAYG price plan, we’re looking forward to next year when pay monthly SIMS and 4G will be available.

We’re also keeping our fingers crossed for cheaper 4G tariffs offered by TPO thanks to its lack of brick and mortar stores, which should cut costs significantly – especially in comparison to EE’s current 4G prices, which many have complained are a little on the high side.

Head on over here to order your free SIM and check out the tariffs.
