Sony Xperia SL officially announced

Sony’s latest member of the Xperia family has been brought out into society for its international debut

The Sony Xperia SL is the latest in the Xperia family to be officially announced by Sony. But is the follow-up to the Xperia S going to be a winner?

Judging from the specs the Xperia SL looks promising, with a superfast 1.7Ghz Qualcomm dual-core processor, a 4.3in TFT 720p display, and a 12.1MP camera. The only downside is it’ll launch with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich when it’s officially outed on August 29th at IFA – what, no Jelly Bean? Check back for details on pricing and when we’ll be getting our hands on it.
