Stuff sponsors BT Digital Music Award

These days a band’s MySpace page is almost as important as their tunes – just look at the Arctic Monkeys or Lily Allen (pictured). So after years of ignoring the web, the industry has finally woken up to give it the attention it deserves.

The BT Digital Music Awards are one of a kind. Devoted entirely to (you guessed it) digital music, previous winners have included Muse and Coldplay. This year sees the addition of a Best Music Hardware award – and Stuff is sponsoring it. We’ll be looking at the coolest MP3 players and best music-making kit and picking out the very best.

There are 19 categories including Best Rock/Indie Artist, Best Podcast and Best Music Blog (this one, surely?) some of which can be voted for by you. Head over to the BT Digital Music Awards website for more info.
