A tiny, tiny new music player arrived at Stuff Towers today. It’s called the L PLayer, and is the successor to the Clix series that currently sits proudly in our Top 10 MP3 players.

So what’s new? Well, even the comparison photo above doesn’t do justice to how small it is. It feels like a PMP made for a baby monkey.

And a very lucky monkey it would be too – the model we were sent packs a pretty amazing 8GB of storage (it’s also available in 2GB and 4GB guises). Apart from the design not much else has changed – an FM radio, 2in 320×240 display, FM radio and voice recorder all say ‘hi’. Plus there’s our old friend, the ‘D Click’ system, which lets you press the frame of the screen to navigate round the menus.

You can see a quick preview of this in the video below – a full review and hands-on will follow faster than a Nadal forehand.
