Put on your science cap folks –It's time to get spaced out with the latest video of NASA's Curiosity descending through the Martian atmosphere and touching down on the red planet

Science has enthralled our humble planet with the news that NASA’s Curiosity rover has landed on the surface of Mars, and you can now glimpse its descent onto Martian soil thanks to the first set of released images by NASA.

297 images of the Curioisty’s entry have beamed their way back to out humble planet and NASA has arranged them to create a stop-motion video which depicts the final stages of the rover’s incredible landing.
