White Google Nexus 4 officially announced

The Google Nexus 4 gets a makeover, with a white version of the phone rolling out internationally in the next few weeks

The white Google Nexus 4 has been rumoured for some time – and now it’s official, with LG announcing that the handset will be released in Hong Kong on May 29th, rolling out across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and America in subsequent weeks.

In a slightly odd design choice, the back of the phone is white, while the front remains the same as the black Nexus 4. Unsurprisingly, the spec list is the same too, with the phone sporting a 4.7in 320ppi screen plus Snapdragon S4 Pro processing power and an 8MP snapper. It’ll come with pure Android 4.2 as a certainty but pricing and an exact release date for Europe have yet to be revealed.
