Windows 8 adverts leak – and look pretty cool

Is this the comeback for Windows as the cool kid in the tech playground?

The official Windows 8 launch event is set for October 29th, but ahead of that Microsoft’s adverts have leaked online – and they look great. In fact, Windows looks cool once again. Could its multi-platform simplicity make Microsoft the coolest kid in the playground?

The ads show a straight-forward, functional platform that just appears to work. We can vouch for it from our initial hands-on time with Windows 8.

Now we just can’t wait to play with a Surface tablet – and Apple will have to counter that with, say, an iPad Mini. Now, enjoy the videos.
