Cast off to Far Harbour with Fallout 4’s biggest DLC drop yet
Stretch those sea legs with a new trailer
Wasteland wanderers got their first look at Fallout 4‘s next DLC drop today – and it looks absolutely massive.
Far Harbour adds a new location to the Commonwealth, which Bethesda reckons is the “largest landmass” it’s ever added to a game.
The trailer drops plenty of hints at what to expect, including new missions, settlements and secret areas to uncover – plus all manner of radioactive monsters to take down.
It looks like Synths, the Children of the Atom and some angry locals are in a bit of barney, and you’ll have to step in and sort it all out.
Private eye Nick Valentine will be taking centre stage, according to Bethesda’s DLC description.
“a new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world.
Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost?”
Got the Fallout 4 season pass? Far Harbour will download automatically on May 19.
For everyone else, you’ll have to buy it separately – just like the Automatron and Wasteland Workshop DLC that landed in March and April respectively.
Far Harbour should set you back £19.99 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, making it Fallout 4’s most expensive DLC to date.
There’s no clue yet whether it’ll arrive alongside the hotly-anticipated mod creation tools, which are currently running in beta on the PC.
