Denon D-M35DAB review
The Denon D-M35DAB has 100 radio presets, a DAB tuner, new-design speakers, MP3 and WMA CDR capability. It looks robust too
Denon has been the leader in all things micro for what seems like centuries (in reality, since 1991). This latest incarnation adds a DAB tuner, new-design speakers, MP3 and WMA CDR capability, improved electronics and room for 100 presets. Phew.
Lean looks and robust build quality come as standard from the Japanese giant. Likewise intelligent design – the bright, clear display does scrolling text justice, while the control buttons are sensibly laid out (though alarm functions are a fiddle to set up).
DAB and FM performance is superb, while detail with music and dialogue also impresses; although the extra sonic sparkle is missing at times.
