Limited edition Star Wars themed Xbox 360 incoming

An Star Wars themed Xbox 360 kit? Yes, please...

R2-D2 has appeared in all manner of guises over the years – think projector, alarm clock and an interactive droid. Now you can find him sprawled all over an Xbox 360. The awesomely styled console, unveiled at Comic-Con 2011, forms part of an Kinect Star Wars bundle complete with a custom blinging C-3P0 styled controller and the first ever white Kinect. The best news, though, has to be the preloaded R2 sound effects that blast out when the power goes on and the disc tray comes out (which you’ll probably do a fair few times before actually playing anything).

Kinect Star Wars also introduces Podracing Mode, which sees players compete with the surviving racers of the Boonta Eve, exclusive downloadable content and Jedi Mode for epic Jedi lightsaber duels.

It’ll be released in September Stateside for US$450, but is available for pre-order now from selected retailers if you want to be among the first to step into the Star Wars universe.
