41MP Nokia 808 PureView price and release date revealed, pre-order today

If you fancy pocketing the grand master of smartphone snappers then click on through for the pricing and release details

Nokia’s SIM-free 808 PureView handset can now be pre-ordered from Amazon for £500.

That’s quite a hefty price tag for a handset chugging along on Nokia’s outdated Symbian OS, but it’s safe to say that no one will be buying the Nokia 808 PureView for anything other than its insane 41MP camera.

Amazon has listed the Nokia 808 PureView as having a July 30th release date, so you’ve got around one month to decide between its imaging prowess and the likes of the similarly priced Samsung Galaxy S3, Apple iPhone 4S and even cheaper HTC One X. Decisions decisions…

Check out our Nokia 808 PureView hands on review and stay tuned for our full in-depth review of Nokia’s imaging beast.
