We’ve had several designer mobiles, monitors and even doorbells swing by the Stuff offices, now it’s the turn of the laptop.Top Brit designer Giles Deacon has lent one of his prints and a few other finishing touches to a limited edition version on Asus’s W5 lappy.Just like bottles of Jean Paul Gaultier and, er, USB cables, it’s available in ‘Male’ (pictured) or ‘Female’ (which gets a pink palette).Thankfully Asus and Intel have been left to design the innards, equipping each with a fine Intel Core 2 Duo from the latest Santa Rosa collection. And if its Selfridges exclusivity wasn’t enough, only 150 of each version will be available. Ask nicely and they’ll throw in a Selfridges bag too.Essentials Giles for Intel Price: £1500 On sale: July Contact: Selfridges Related stories: LG’s Jar-normous designer monitor Gadget of the Day – Acoustic Cordless Doorbell Gadget of the Day – LG Prada phone
