Apple iPad Mini in production for imminent release

The 7in iPad Mini is on its way out of the factory – and into our welcoming hands

If you’re one of the 2 million people who have already pre-ordered the iPhone 5 and your appetite for Apple still isn’t satiated, fret not – more is on the way. In fact Apple may be holding back on the big launch – that of the 7in iPad Mini, which has apparently just gone into production.

According to Economic Daily News, the iPad Mini is on the assembly lines at Taiwanese manufacturer Pegatron – with a rumoured October launch date. Here’s hoping that there aren’t any shortages of Apple’s rival to the Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire HD when it launches.
