We’ve already salivated over the Lamborghini-branded Asus VX laptop range, and now a similarly sporty smartphone has been unvelied at CeBit 2008.
The iPhone‘s all good and well, but let’s face it, it’s not going to stoke your engine or fuel any boy-racer fantasies. Step forward the Lamborghini-styled Asus VX1.
Complete with the iconic Lambo badge-shaped nav pad and a speedometer-inspired home screen clock, the Windows Mobile 6.1-toting VX1 promises to be “everything the iPhone is”, complete with touchscreen navigation and the addition of a really rather lovely 3D user interface.
And it’ll do a metaphorical 0-60 in seconds, thanks to 3G, HSDPA, 128MB of RAM, GPS and Wi-Fi. And the camera capabilities lap the iPhone’s, thanks to 3MP, autofocus and VGA sensor for videocalling.
The VX1 is expected to launch with an €1,000 price tag when it revs over to Europe this May. Well, it’s cheaper than the real thing…
