Barebones Nokia 3109 keeps it simple

These days even the basic mobiles are features packed. Take Nokia’s 3109. Despite their claims that it’s ‘just a mobile phone’ those Finns still can’t help squeezing in an MP3 packing MicroSD slot and an email client for handling attachments.Living under the ‘Classic’ moniker, it’s a plain suited, straight-up kinda phone with as many surprises as the FA Cup final.It won’t exactly be challenging the iPhone with highlights such as a handsfree speaker, phonebook, organiser and to-do list.The lack of camera, however, is a bonus if you’re a corporate type banned from snapping pics at work. Just wait ‘til the boss hears there’s a music player on board.
