Google adds Loch Ness to Street View
Still intrigued by tales of the Loch Ness Monster? The original photo that drove decades of speculation has been proven a fake, but the body of water continues to draw tourists and skeptics. If you can’t swing a trip to Scotland, now you can take a gander at the iconic location in Google’s latest Street View spotlight.
You can explore the loch from the surface itself, but also beneath, as Google sent divers to snap images of the depths. As with previous standout Street View locations, the occasion has been marked by a pretty great trailer – part making-of, part highlighting the wonder of the location – as seen above. Check that out, and then explore the imagery over at Street View.

Netflix renews Marvel’s Daredevil
Daredevil has quickly proven to be another winner for Netflix, with the Marvel Comics series drawing rave reviews for its brutally realistic fight sequences and unexpectedly multidimensional main villain, and the streaming service has already seen fit to order a second season.
It’ll hit Netflix sometime in 2016, following this year’s eventual release of Marvel’s A.K.A. Jessica Jones. Next year will also see the debut of Marvel’s Luke Cage on the service, with Marvel’s Iron Fist coming sometime thereafter. Eventually, all four series will culminate in the Marvel’s Defenders mini-series, although if all of them do well enough to get multi-season arcs, that could be a ways off.

Halo 3: ODST on Xbox One next month
After last year’s rough launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which is still being actively updated to address issues (a new patch launched yesterday), 343 Industries and Microsoft vowed to make it up to early players – by porting spinoff Halo 3: ODST‘s campaign to Xbox One for free.
And thanks an update on the Halo Waypoint blog, it sounds like the ODST campaign should be added to the Collection as a free update next month, along with the new Relic multiplayer map remake for Halo 2. Neither is fully confirmed, but the post says they’re “on track” to make the May content update.

New indie gaming documentary
If you loved Indie Game: The Movie, you might want to check out GameLoading: Rise of the Indies, a new feature-length documentary that released yesterday on various video services. Whereas Indie Game was focused on a few specific creators, GameLoading is apparently more of a wider view of the indie movement across the industry. It’s available for US$8.99 (about £6), and you can catch the very compelling trailer above.
