Gadget of the Day: Computer Supermarket Ultimate Gaming PC

Just looking at that case we can tell Computer Supermarket’s Ultimate Gaming PC is something of a beast, but it’s what’s inside that counts. And this rig has nothing put raw power under the bonnet.

For starters it’s the only PC to come with an ear-bleeding 8GB of RAM as standard, strapped to an unholy 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor.

Then there’s the nVidia FX 8600GT graphics card with another 512MB of dedicated memory for good measure, which should handle HD graphics and video with aplomb.

As befits such a machine, there’s a 750GB hard drive and integrated 7.1 channel surround sound.
