Google Glass gets its first real designer frames
Diane von Furstenberg delivers a more stylish range of smart specs

From 23rd June, they’ll be a few more style choices available to wearers of Google Glass.
New York fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg has announced the “DVF | Made for Glass” range, consisting of five new frames and eight new shades. They’ll be available through the Glass site and net-a-porter.com. But probably not in the UK, where Glass still hasn’t officially launched.

Glass with more class

DVF and Glass already have a bit of a history: the designer and her models wore the headsets when debuting her A/W 2012 collection, allowing the public to get an insider view of a catwalk show.
Google’s unisex Titanium Collection was the company’s first foray into a designer version of the specs, but that was created in-house. DVF’s collection (designed for women) is the first collaboration with a big name designer.
