After all the talk of it being exclusive to Xbox 360 gamers, Rockstar has announced that its extra downloadable content for GTA IV will be making its way to PS3 and PC from March, as Sony said it would back in 2008.

The two episodes, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, were released in February and October 2009 for 360 gamers, but will be bundled together to buy on disc from 30 March, or separately for download on the PlayStation Network.

Rockstar said it appreciated the “patience” of its PS3 and PC fans and admitted it had been a long time coming. Does this mean it’ll steer away from so-called “exclusives” in the future?

Games for Windows LIVE players will reportedly be able to play 32-player multiplater matches and enjoy an advanced video editor, while both PC and PS3 gamers will get the updated soundtrack, in-game TV and Liberty City’s own internet.

We don’t have UK prices yet, but as you can pick the Xbox360 version of Episodes from Liberty City for around £30 on disc, or download individually for around £15, we’d hazard a guess they’ll be pretty similar to that.

Don’t hold us to it though, check the actual prices out when the game lands in March.
