HTC to launch 5in One X successor in September

It looks like HTC may be joining the big boys with its own haughty handset

HTC is getting ready to release a 5in smartphone, likely the successor to the One X, this September.

It’s still in rumour stages right now with DigiTimes delivering the news from its “industry sources”. Stuff has also heard there will indeed be a successor to the One X coming in the next few months with a big special feature.

It looks like that big feature will be literal with a beautiful 1794×1080 resolution 5in display. And with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 almost certainly being unveiling on August 29th it seems like a great time for HTC to step into the ring and compete. Check back for official updates as they arrive.
