HTC Zeta to be a quad-core 2.5GHz wonder

This is HTC’s most beautiful and powerful phone yet, but is it real?

The HTC Zeta – which sports a 2.5GHz quad-core and Ice Cream Sandwich OS – is certainly HTC’s most impressive and gorgeous handset to date, but is it real? The 4.5in 720p displaying beauty was leaked to Engadget – but with specs and looks like these, we’re inclined to take it with a bucketload of salt, especially given that the quad-core HTC Edge has only just been announced.

If the Zeta renders and specs that’ve appeared on Engadget are to be believed, it’ll also grace us with an 8MP/1080p camera, 1,830mAh battery and Beats Audio, all in a 9.8mm thick unibody design. The specs are almost realistic enough to be real, but for HTC to come up with an actual pretty handset is hard to swallow. And if this is an Ice Cream Sandwich device, why all the buttons?
