LG has dipped another toe into the MP3 player pool by following up its new 8GB jukebox with this charming flash job.
The MFFM20 looks like the love child of Advanced MP3 Player’s Pebble player and a Sony NW-A3000 Walkman, with its sleek curves and luminescent display.
It keeps things simple on the features front. There’s PlaysforSure support for stores such as Napster, an FM radio and two capacity options – 512MB and 1GB.
So far, so average, but there are a couple of indulgences beyond the arresting design, since it has a 20 hour battery life, and a new feature called ‘music therapy’.
To keep things mysterious, LG hasn’t yet elaborated on this feature – which appears on the 8GB MFJM53 – other than to say it’ll help reduce stress levels. It sounds intriguing, but we just hope the Korean notion of therapy doesn’t involve pan pipes, old Enigma songs or gaudy flashing lights.
