It’s been a mere photo for a while but now a Moto ROKR E8 has been spotted out in the wild, presumably indicating its imminent release.The folks/geniuses over at Boy Genius Report have had a hands-on with a pre-release model of the candybar handset and reported that the keys do indeed morph depending on function.It’s no Tony Hart plasticine stop motion trickery but a Chocolate-esque touch sensitive keypad with haptic feedback lights up for each use: numbers and end/answers keys for the phone; playback controls (pictured) for the music player.There’s also a light-up circular control below the screen – similar to your iPod Nano’s clickwheel.Otherwise it’s a fairly bog standard offering with a two megapixel camera and no 3G, but on the interface alone we reckon this one could be a hit.Essentials Motorola ROKR E8 Price: £TBA On sale: TBA Contact: Motorola Related stories: 8MP Motorola ‘Skarven’ on the way?
