MWC 2011 – Sony Ericsson Xperia Play has its game face on

The PlayStation phone is finally here, official, outed

We first mentioned rumours of the PSP phone about 3 years ago, and it’s finally here in the guise of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play.

Yes, we even knew about that, but it’s now official. Awesome, eh? And even more awesome is that there’ll be 50 games available from launch and you can use it as a Wi-Fi hotspot for multiplayer madness.

Like the Xperia Neo also announced at MWC 2011, it’s loaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread sweetness.

Look out for it on most of the major networks from April.
